It is not worth servicing the player because it is not cost effective because the price of Mega changers have gone way down, so I am going to have to serach for another one. I bought this CD charger around 4 years ago. Like the other review mentioned even new CD's were skipping. I have read since that JVC has a hard time with longetivity. So I am very upset. I took all of the cds out and cleaned them.
I still have audio equipment from 20 years ago. It worked just fine until recently the player started to skip. Four years may sound like a lot, it is not. I even put the cd lense cleaner in the unit and nothing worked. It still skips. I do not use this player every day, maybe on the weekends at the most and I am the only one who touches it.
I hope it has not ruined any of my cd's.
After a delay of about a month, UPS damage control picked up the item. UPS delivered the CD changer in an obviously damaged shipping carton. Further examination proved it to be unusable. Have heard nothing from ANTonline. They have has not responded to numerous inquiries and I have not received a refund for the unit.
The first CD player you sent did not work and you responded very quickly to get us a replacement within a couple of days. We returned the first one for credit and got a confirmation e-mail that you had received it. Overall, the purchase was a very positive experience. It was the first time I purchased anything from your company and it was handled very well and in a timely manner.Thanks.
we have it in our bedroom and we can sleep while it changes we usually have it on random play that way you hear all of the cd's mixed up. we just love our 200 cd changer. we now have all of our cd's at our fingertips and can use them all instead of them sitting on a shelf somewhere. it's not as loud as other reviewers has said sure, it has some noise but not that much that you can't sleep through it. wish we had bought it sooner.
